Scott Patmore
Scott followed his father into life insurance working for General Portfolio in 1994. He worked his way up to senior unit manager level within the Watford office, when General Portfolio were bought by G.A.N life and pensions. Scott achieved conference qualification and attended the overseas shareholders trip to Hong Kong. In 1995 Scott was head hunted by Legal & General to work as a Business Development Manager in Houghton Regis where he was personally responsible for recruiting and developing a team of 14 advisors. He again achieved Conference qualification for his management performance - this time enjoying the overseas trip to Whistler Canada. During his employment with Legal & General Scott gained the FPC 3 qualification to sit alongside his current FPC 1 & 2 certificates. Realising there was going to be a change in the market place, Scott moved himself and six of his advisors to his own franchise practice within Inter-Alliance group - becoming the major shareholder in Inter-Alliance Watford Ltd. This culminated in him growing his practice to over 20 employees. He was then offered an employed role within Inter-Alliance's new structure and was instrumental in recruiting advisors into his new region. He once again achieved the highest accolade of conference qualification to Mauritius in 2002.
On the birth of his son, Scott decided to take a two year sabbatical which he chose to end in 2005 deciding to start his own business with his loyal clients. Adam Charleston (now Focus Financial) became live in December 2005 and is progressively growing. Scott enjoys football and has been a season ticket holder at Spurs for 7 years.

Michael Mullin
Mike joined the industry over 30 years ago joining a brokerage called FPC working in Manchester and London. He then moved to Young Ridgeway Associates who specialised in dealing with British Ex-patriots living in the middle east. Mike was instrumental in positioning young Ridgeway associates as one of the most successful independent financial advisors in the middle east. Mike was then recruited by Albany Life as a mortgage advisor in their Estate agents division based in Middlesex. He was advising the general public on all aspects of mortgages and investments which culminated in him being recognised in the top five consultants in the organisation. He also obtained the Financial planning certificates 1, 2 and 3. Albany Life was then restructured and taken over by Canada life where Mike was offered the position of a financial advisor in their St Albans branch where he enjoyed a successful career. In 2002 Canada life decided to close its sales force and Mike was quickly head hunted by Inter-alliance one of the country’s top IFA networks, here he achieved his CMAP qualification in mortgages. He was asked by Inter alliance to join the Harrow practice and formed a strong rapport with Scott Patmore which was a major influence in Mike deciding to join Scott at Adam Charleston Protects Ltd (now Focus Financial). Mike has been married to Christine for over 30 years and has three children and one grandson. He is a very keen golfer and plays to a handicap of 13. He is also treasurer of Cap’n Flints golf society which he helped form in 1998. Mike has supported Manchester united for over 50 years.

David grew up in Islington, London. Upon leaving school he joined up with his father and 2 brothers in London Central Branch Print Union and worked in most aspects of the newspaper industry.
He changed career and joined Financial Planning Services at Hitchin in 1987. FPS joined with General Portfolio and later became GAN. In his first full year David achieved convention status, in 2nd full year attained Branch Manager status at Hertford where he actively run recruitment seminars and pension and mortgage training for new recruits in the company (including a certain Scott Patmore). David left GAN to join Legal & General at Houghton Regis where he worked for almost 2 years, during this time he added FPC3 to his FPC 1 and 2 certificates. He then decided to become an Independent Financial Adviser and moved to Inter-Alliance in September 1997, then with 2 other consultants set up their first London branch, which grew and moved to various prestigious locations. He was then invited to join a small specialist unit in Northolt still within the same group (which had now become Bates-Millfield). In the time with this group he gained 2 certificates in The Chartered Insurance Institute (Mortgage Professional Status and CF2 Certificate Investment and Risk). In December 2006 he was invited by Scott to join up with him again at Adam Charleston (now Focus Financial) and he was pleased to be given the opportunity to work with him again, during which time he has become authorised to conduct pension transfer business.
David is a devoted family man, he has been married to Irene for 47 years, they have 3 children, 6 grandchildren and he has lived in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire for 42 years. He has played golf for many years at Brickendon Grange and still tries to play off his handicap of 13.
He has a simple standard of ethics for financial services – he will not give any advice to any client that he would not give to his own children.
